How to Install Kodi on Fire Stick, Stream Live TV, and Install The Latest Add-Ons (Exodus, Genesis, Soundplex, Hulu Plus Lots more!)

Kodi is free, open-source software designed specifically with home entertainment in mind – and it’s perfect if you’re a fan of movies, sports, films and TV shows. Although it was originally created for the Microsoft Xbox and called Xbox Media Center (XBMC), Kodi has continued to evolve – spawning a community of its own.

Unlike services like Chromecast or Plex, Kodi is managed by the non-profit XBMC Foundation, and it’s constantly being modified and upgraded by countless of coders around the world. Since its creation in 2003, Kodi has been shaped by more than 500 software developers and more than 200 translators. That means you can now customize by installing addons or builds, and they’re totally free, too. And it’s not just for laptops; Kodi can now work on everything from a smartphone to an Amazon Fire TV Stick.

In this video I’ll show you how to get the most from your XBMC raspberry PI!
I’ll show you how to set up a wireless remote, and how to update your PI without having re flash the SD card, Also I’ll show you how to stream to your raspberry pi from your media server!

  1. Awesome job. Just watched a few videos of yours and I subscribed. I'm really pumped about my new PI. Keep up the good work!

  2. Thanks for the review, looking at getting one of these remotes. Could you tell me if you can re-assign buttons on the remote and is it much difficulty? Thankyou

  3. no, sorry this remote can not be changed or reporgramed,
you may be able to remap them in openelec, but not on the remote itself.

  4. Hi mate, does this remote control have a 'right-click' button.. i.e. for when you want to right click in your XBMC library and update / scan for new content? Thanks

  5. The Remote is great, the only thing is that mouse functionality is given in xmbc. You may only see the pointer moving up just flicking sometimes.

I'm finding a remote which has a mini keyboard as well and works on rbmc, if you have any such product in mind which is cheap, please let me know.
