At the Adblink I get message says device offline please help

What is another option if when pressing download you're warned that it may be a virus?

My Windows security keeps blocking the adb download saying virus detected. I played around a bit but couldn't figure out how to allow it. How do I allow it?

It worked just like you said except when I look at me apps on the fire stick I can not find ES Explorer. Any ideas?

Troy, I think your amazing as an instructional public speaker, Kudos! Having the ability to mirror a process in it's actual procedural sequence without unnecessary verbiage is a super big plus in "learning" to do, well almost anything. As far as the results I've managed to solve my problems completely as well as share my happy accomplishment with dozens of others with your terrific help! I'm old…laughs and somehow I've noticed along the way that many solutions are simply problems blown out of proportion with added layers of confusion. Gosh, I recommend your You Tube every chance I get when the subject of versioning control and conflicts comes up both personally and professionally; especially of what a help a COMPLETE and concise video example can be when done with your particular style of finesse! Good Evening troy point. Thank you for your videos but I am at the stage of verifying the IP addresses but mine do not match and you never said what to do if they do not match. Also when I originally tried to download ES File instead of giving me the option to download I get an option to get which I do not understand. Any suggestions of how to get around this situation?

Iam Sorry for that stupid questions but what advantage do I have when I have the named applications installed on the Fire TV Stick.? Does that have any connection to the OS Android? I would be very thankful if someone or the uploder himself could shed some light.
Basically what are the biggest or "most" advantages I´d get through installing those, I havn´t figured that out yet. Have I access on my mobile divice through the Fire TV Stick over the TV then, and if yes what could I do with that?

Would It be somehow possible to play installed "apps", resp. games on the Android OS through the FireTvStick on the TV, so that I connect on the same WLAN, play on the phone, but see it on my TV? That would be something I´d be interested in.

But if someone could me explaine what advantages I´ll get through or with the installations the author is showing I´d be very thankful already.

If you enable the "allow installation of application from both trusted and unknown sources" it will show up on main screen.

+troypoint can I upgrade to Krypton from Jarvis using this method? I do not want to loose my addons. I have the new stick that does not let me use ES file to install Kodi. I used your step by step to install Jarvis as a new install on my new stick in my bedroom. The stick in my living room. I can install with out pc. I already installed Kryton in the living room without incident. I did not loose my addon. Thank You in advance for your help.

This was a great video and easy to follow. I was able to get up to the point where you had to install ES File Explorer (com.strongs.android.pop_577.apk. Then I got an error message that it failed. The log said:

KODI changed their download page since this video went up. they now have 2 version of the ARM version. They have a 32bit V7A apk and a 64bit V8A apk. do you know which one should be used?

EDIT: it was the V7A 32bit version. I did not download the "nightly" release FYI. The 64bit V8A would not install. Using the newer version of fire stick with alexa remote.

I tried to update following your instructions but downloader would not load and file explorer either.(blank screen) so I played around until I finally updated but the update kept freezing.. I deleted kodi and could not get it back.. this video saved me… Thank you so much!!!
