Hey I normally use stand alone APKs like cinema hd etc I am very new to KODI and I just installed this build. Can someone tell me how to access the live tv? is there a working tv guide? best add ons to use?

I’m new to all this stuff, I did this because someone had added apps or whatever they are called to my fire stick and the kodi I previously had, had different sources. Long story short it got all deleted, so I followed these steps thinking it was for the same thing.
So I was surprised that it was to upgrade my kodi, so my question is….do I need to add more add-ons(sources to find movies, shows etc) or just stick to the 3 that are already installed?
And do I need to pay to the IP app?
