How to Install Kodi on Fire Stick, Stream Live TV, and Install The Latest Add-Ons (Exodus, Genesis, Soundplex, Hulu Plus Lots more!)

Kodi is free, open-source software designed specifically with home entertainment in mind – and it’s perfect if you’re a fan of movies, sports, films and TV shows. Although it was originally created for the Microsoft Xbox and called Xbox Media Center (XBMC), Kodi has continued to evolve – spawning a community of its own.

Unlike services like Chromecast or Plex, Kodi is managed by the non-profit XBMC Foundation, and it’s constantly being modified and upgraded by countless of coders around the world. Since its creation in 2003, Kodi has been shaped by more than 500 software developers and more than 200 translators. That means you can now customize by installing addons or builds, and they’re totally free, too. And it’s not just for laptops; Kodi can now work on everything from a smartphone to an Amazon Fire TV Stick.

This is a video showing you how to install the XBMC Dashboard onto your softmodded Xbox. It is really easy to do as long as you have enough memory on your E Drive (Important). If you like this video please comment, rate, and subscribe. Thanks!!

  1. I want to have unleash x dash and xbmc dash dual boot. How do I install xbmc dash without loosing unleash x dash, is it possible, cheers

  2. Good video but the XBMC you link to is an older version. Is there any reason you did that? Should I go with the version you used or should I go with 4.53 or 4.53 lite? What's the difference between 4.53 and 4.53 lite? I don't see what they said they cut out. Are all the themes/skins still there?

  3. I have a stock hardrive with no emulators or installed games. Just game saves. Do I not have to worry about un-soft modding my xbox?

  5. What I do is via ftp go to my E/Dashboard/ directory, delete the UnleashX files within that folder.

Then copy the contents within my XBMC folder(not the folder itself just the files inside) to the E/Dashboard/ directory on my xbox.

    Soft reset when complete.

    Done
